Today Moreton and Saughall Massie Councillor Simon Mountney successfuly completed his abseil down Leasowe Lighthouse and by doing so raised over £300.00 in sponsorship for the 'Friends of Leasowe Lighthouse'.

This weekend is Celebrate Wirral weekend and the Lighthouse will be open to the public on Saturday 15th July 2006 between 10 am - 4 pm and on Sunday 16th July 2006 between 10 am - 4 pm...........
