Wirral residents in some parts of Oxton, Prenton, Woodchurch, Upton, and most of Moreton will all get a new paper and packaging recycling collection starting from November 6.................

You will find here the list of roads in the Moreton/Saughall Massie area and dates when they will be scheduled to receive brown bins for garden waste. The deliveries are all on schedule at present.......

30/7/2006 -  Recycling gets urgent action 
WIRRAL COUNCIL has been forced to adopt drastic measures to improve its recycling. The Council was at risk of being fined for not reducing the amount of waste being sent to landfill sites. Other Councils have been doing more than Wirral for many years.........

Thousands of householders across Wirral are thought to be missing out on a grant from the Government for home insulation and heating improvements, warned the Eaga Partnership today.

Following a request by Moreton and Saughall Massie Councillors, Chris Blakeley, Suzanne Moseley and Simon Mountney Wirral Council has agreed that the St. George's flag will be flown at the Council buildings during the World Cup Football as a symbol of the Council’s support for the England team.
