Hello and welcome to my website. I was born in Bromborough and have lived on Wirral all my life. I have been a Councillor since 2000. I currently represent Greasby, Frankby and Irby Ward on Wirral Borough Council. As with all Council Wards in the Wirral Borough this Ward has three councillors. The other Councillors in this Ward are Jean Quinn and Gill Gardiner (pictured with me below). I was elected for this Ward in June, 2004. Before that I represented Royden Ward (Greasby, Frankby and the Newton and Grange parts of West Kirby) from May, 2000. Royden Ward disappeared with boundary changes.
Although I am a member of a political Group on the Council, I was elected to serve all residents, regardless of political persuasion.
I am a member of the Children's Services and Lifelong Learning Overview and Scrutiny Committee, the Culture, Tourism and Leisure Overview and Scrutiny Committee and the Streetscene and Transport Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee. I am also on the Greasby/Frankby/Irby, Upton and Woodchurch Area Forum. I represent the Council on the Greasby Community Centre Joint Management Committee and the Dee Estuary Local Authorities Liaison Group.
