My name is Chris Blakeley and I am one of three Conservative Councillors in Moreton West and Saughall Massie.  This covers the area between Saughall Massie, Saughall Massie Village, the Millhouse Lane area, Lingham and up to Pasture Road and Upton Road.  Together with my colleagues Cllr Simon Mountney  and Cllr Suzanne Moseley, we serve all residents throughout the year, regardless of political views.

Sandra and I have lived in Moreton since 1982 and our daughter, Stephanie was born shortly afterwards.   

I first joined the Council in 2000 following my involvement in the campaign to try and save the Moreton AFC sports field.  I was re-elected for a further four years in 2004 and was successful in being re-elected with 71% of the vote in May 2008.

I serve on the Councils Housing and Community Safety Overview and Scrutiny Committee as well as being a Council Representative on the Merseytravel Board.   I am a member of Moreton’s Community Centre in Maryland Lane and a member of the Saughall Massie Conservation Society.  I am also a member of the Moreton, Saughall Massie and Leasowe Area Forum as well as being an active member of the resident led Moreton Community Lights Association which is dedicated to ensuring Moreton is lit with festive lights at Christmas. 

Simon, Suzanne and I are the public face of Moreton and Saughall Massie’s Conservative Action Team. We are always keen to hear your views and ideas for improving the area.
