Hello,

My name is Bill Duffey and I am one of two Conservative Councillors in New Brighton. I   serve all residents throughout the year, regardless of political views.

I have lived in New Brighton all my life, with a large slice away as a regular soldier, leaving the service as a staff officer responsible for operations at an Army Headquarters.  I have stopped doing casework for SSAFA, an armed forces charity, but I remain an associate.

I first joined the Council in 2003 following my involvement in many campaigns in New Brighton.   I was re-elected for a further two years in 2004 and again in 2006 for a four year term. 

I no longer serve on the Overview & Secrutiny Committee for Culture,Tourism & Leisure but  have kept the Pensions Committee.   the Licensing Act 2003 Committee and I now am on the Licensing,Health and Safety and General Purposes Committee.I stay an active committee member of Vale House Community Centre and  a Council nominated member of the Cambrige Road Day Centre. I am also a member of the police run initiative Neighbourhood Action Group.

.In July 2006 I became a member of the main board of Wirral Partnership Homes
