Sixth Successful Year
Yet again following months of preparation the organisers of the annual Peartree Community enjoyed another successful event. The day began for the organisers at around 8 am when all the tents etc were erected and the hall laid out, all the food and the much needed cold drinks chilled. The crowds began to gather at around midday and remained until the end.
Another tremendous day, making us yet again very proud to represent the people of Peartree. Particular thanks to Phil and Jackie - well done on another fantastic job. Also thank you to all the other people involved.
Let’s hope next years is even better! Remember we always need more helpers.
I have been involved in the organisation of the Peartree Community Funday from day one. The Peartree Funday has proved extremely popular and the organising committee are working on the seventh Funday in 2008
As the event grows more helpers and sponsors are required in order to ensure the success of the event. So if you want to help in the planning, on the day or would like to make a donation then please contact Phil Johnson via the Woodhall Community Centre.
