I was elected as Ward Councillor in Panshanger in May 2006. I have lived in Welwyn Garden City since 1990. I have two daughters. My eldest daughter attended Holwell Primary School where I served a term as a Parent Governor. She is now in Sixth Form at Stanborough School where she is enjoying her involvement in the life of the school and her academic studies. My youngest daughter attends St John's C of E Primary in Digswell where I am a Diocese appointed Foundation Governor.
I am a Registered Childminder and a Member of the NCMA. I am also a Governor at Springmead School in Panshanger.
As a family we attend St John's Lemsford. I am an active member of the congregation helping to run a bi-monthly play and service session for Under 5s and the regular Sunday Club. It's lots of fun and everyone is welcome. St John's is a beautiful church with a really welcoming and friendly congregation.
You will often see me on school runs and out and about in the local area. I am always happy to stop and have a chat about anything and will do my best to help if required.
