I know Audit wouldn't be fun, but nearly three hours worth of it certainly wasn't. However, we did get alot done and it is comforting to know that we spend a lot of time scrutinising accounts so that we get the best out for the public purse.
Finished my article on the Gateway Club which you can read on this site and hopefully with make it into the papers. I was really amazed that something like that existed, and is absolutley fantastic, especially as funding in that area has always been low and it is great what can be done. I wonder what would happen with a bit more money.
If you are a part of a community group or know of one that would like me to come round, meet and then do a write up please e-mail me or call me (I think the numbers are on here enough).
Breaks Manor Youth Centre is my outside body, AGM on Wednesday. Plus meetings include planning and don't forget the Environment public meeting at JMC 1900 Tuesday! Oh not to mention a new Prime Minister, was shocked to see how the old one disappered so quickly, that's Politics!
Here endeth the June blogs.

Welcome to my blog. I hope that every now and again I can add a few comments about news stories or items that the Council are working on at the moment.
Well I have just finished reading my minutes and agendas for the following weeks meetings, yes I know it is a Friday night but it was the first day of Glastonbury and I wanted an excuse to stay in and watch it! I just wanted to say that I think its great that the Council has published the Hatfield TC Redevelopment newsletter, that way everyone can see at what stage the works are and why it appears that an £80 million programme takes times!
Feel free to email me any comments about the TC.
Meetings this week have included two nights for computer training, so a quiet week, but it is all made up next week when I have a meeting on Tuesday, two Wednesday and one on Thursday! I wouldn't want it any other way.
Take care,
Paul
