Welcome to my website

I was elected to represent Peartree Ward in May 2008, the first non-Labour district councillor ever in Peartree. I also represent Handside and Peartree on Herts County Council, as one of a 14-strong Liberal Democrat group.

I have been a member of the executive of the Welwyn Garden City Society for 15 years, and on their behalf  I organise WGC's involvement in Heritage Open Days - more about this elsewhere on this site.

On Welwyn Hatfield council I am a member of the Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee (we aim to keep an eye on the council's use of its financial, human and property resources) and the Standards Committee, which is there to ensure proper standards of behavoiur by councillors.

I sit on the local Highways Joint Members Panel, which has both county and borough councillors.

Louise Lotz, my fellow Liberal Democrat councillor for Peartree and I will be letting you know what we are doing and trying to do by regular issues of Peartree Focus, delivered free to all homes in the ward.

I work as a self-employed gardener with customers in WGC, Welwyn and Hatfield.
