I have been a Borough Councillor for the Ward of  firstly Cuffley for four years, then Brookmans Park for three years.I have always been interested in working with people,particularly young people.I am chairman of Social Overview and Scrutiny committee and have been for three years.The committee covers Leisure,Housing,Community Safety,Children and young people and Culture.The committee meets every six weeks at different venues in the community.

I organised the moonlight football for young people at Gosling Stadium on a Friday between 9pm and 11pm.It is attended by approximately 130 young people.

I worked with my officers to set up a Crucial Crew project for a group of young people to spend a week at the fire station, and it was very successful.

I personally raised the money to send away for one week,  Six young people for team building,each young person had their own mentor.This again was very successful.
