As a mother, wife, business woman and chief cook and bottle washer life was hectic enough but when asked if I would like to be a councillor I jumped at it.
They say if you want something done ask a busy person and my most important message to get across whilst canvessing was to do my very best for you.
To this end,
- I have attended every council meeting possible. This has helped me to meet and work with other councillors of all parties and get up to speed with local issues.
- I have spent time along side council officers so as to learn what their roles involve.
- I have had meetings with Dr. Dennis Lewis and taken over the issues which are still ongoing.
Over the next few months I will be adding information, pictures, and Handside ward and council news.
NEXT YEAR WE WILL NEED MORE PEOPLE TO STAND FOR ELECTION.
