There is now a shop at 128 Brook Road, Cakemore Estate, which is for the community to use. Langley Housing office are holding open times there mainly on Wednesday a.m. and Langley Councillors will hold surgeries at the shop on Saturday mornings - see dates under Cakemore Estate .

The Council has improved facilities in Barnford Park, and the Friends of Barnford Park have worked hard to help raise money and ensure the improvements took place.
Oldbury Leisure Centre site, is to be given money from the Government to enable disabled people to use Leisure facilities . A design has been drawn up which also includes a G.P. surgery and therapy pool to be included.
