I am delighted and honoured to have been re-elected as Blackheath Ward Councillor.
I have worked in Blackheath since 1990 when my late husband John and I opened our Retail business, Dean & Moon, in the Town. In 1996, I was appointed Secretary of the Blackheath Business & Community Association, a voluntary position that continues to occupy a great deal of my time. When I do have time, I love gardening, reading and listening to music.
I have also been re-elected as Deputy Leader of The Sandwell Conservative Group.

Parking Charges on Short St Carpark
It is intended to introduce Parking charges and a Permit Scheme, possibly with effect from 1st October 2008. This decision was taken at a recent Neighbourhood Cabinet Advisory Team Meeting held on 13th June 2008.
