Sandwell has funding available for making your home warmer and more energy efficient. If you are receiving benefits such as Income Support, Pension Credit, Tax credits etc or have an income less tha £16040 you may qualify for the following: • Free loft and Cavity Wall Insulation. • Free central heating or solar panels. Call for Action on Local Great Barr Road Safety.
Whilst talking to many of you during the election campaign, it became apparent that residents have concerns above road safety in the Great Barr area. The two main areas appear to be the need to queue in the outside lane of West Bromwich bound carriageway of the Queslett Road whilst turning onto the Whitecrest estate and the use of Pages Lane as “rat run” for cars and HGV’s to avoid the Scott Arms junction.
