Welcome to my website

I am a long term resident of Worsley, having lived there since 1963, with my wife, Eileen.

My two sons and their wives and our grandchildren also live in Worsley.

I have been a Conservative member of  Salford City Council since 2004, representing Worsley Ward, but was previously a member of the Council from 1974 to 1977.    Prior to that I was a member of the old Worsley Urban District Council from 1969 to that Council's dissolution in 1974.

I am Vice Chair of the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority, and Chair of the Policy and Resources Committee, and a member of the Leading Members Group and also on the Capital Projects Committee.

I am also a member of the following -

  • Salford City Council Neighbourhoods Scrutiny Committee. .
  • Worsley & Boothstown Community Committee Political Executive.
