COUNCILLOR PAUL ANDREWS - WORKING FOR YOU

MY AIMS AS YOUR COUNCILLOR

  • Determined to keep Council Tax down without cutting services or increasing fees
  • Bringing car park charges down to encourage local trade and visitors
  • Campaigning for a dry sports centre at Malton School
  • Fighting for an independent comprehensive review of the land drainage for the District in order to reduce the risk of flooding
  • Striving to maintain local control over Council services - so that, as far as possible, decisions that affect you are made at Ryedale House and not in Northallerton, Scarborough or Beverley or elsewhere.
  • Striving to ensure that local affordable housing goes to local people
  • Campaigning for improvements in the A64 and the intersections at Malton and Norton
  • Always available to assist local businesses in their dealings with authority
  •

    My Latest News

SUPPORT MALTON SCHOOL'S SPORTS CENTRE BID
Please go to my personal site www.paul-andrews.net urgently for important information (Click on "Sports and yachting"). This matter is again before the Council for consideration of its next stage. There is still opposition to this scheme - mainly from the Conservative Group, who seem reluctant to agree to it going ahead unless it is funded in its entirety by external means - in spite of the fact that the Council continues to have £8.7M of reserves in the bank. Please show your support for this worthwhile project

    CAR PARK CHARGES
PLEASE GIVE YOUR SUPPORT TO THE GAZETTE'S CAMPAIGN FOR FAIR CAR PARK CHARGES AND FOR SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESS
