Tariffs from 1 April 2005
Cash - Up to 1 hour £1.00 (Smartcard 50p)
Cash - Up to 2 hours £1.80 (Smartcard 90p)
Cash - 24 hours £4.50 (Smartcard £2.25)
The Council has two types of permit to benefit users. The first is a Long Stay Permit for use on the Council's Long Stay Car Parks only, which costs £150 per year or £37.50 per quarter. The second is a Short Stay Permit which allows a maximum of two hours parking on any Council Car Park at a cost of either £18.75 for six months or £37.50 per year. In addition, a Smartcard is available which gives £20 worth of parking for £13.00.
If you use the car parks less than once a week, a Smartcard offers the best value, if you use the car park more than once a week, a permit is the better value.
