Ryedale District Council is one of ten local authorities in the national pilot of Councillor.info, a service sponsored by the Local Government Association to provide Councillors with web sites to:

• Let the public know about the hard work they put in to represent their interests
• Tell local people their news (and let the press know too)
• Put events, articles and other items of interest on line

It is hoped that providing them will also increase interest and awareness in the local community of local issues.
