Welcome to my website

Welcome to my website. I do hope that it will be more a platform of what is happening in East Ward, the area that I was elected to represent, in 2003.

I currently Chair the East Action/ Impact Project. It is a non Political Committee, made up of different Organisations, ie: The Police, Cross Keys, Chairmen of all the Resident Associations in East Ward, Council Officers, Ward Councillors and Residents, in the Eastgate, Eastfield and Fengate area of Peterborough

The Committee started up as a result of a Police initiative about 3 years ago. It was then Chaired by Angela Hankins, when there were massive problems in the Ward. It was set up to bring the necessary Authorities together, to try to improve the quality of life for people living in Eastgate, Eastfield and Fengate.

Angela moved on to another area of Peterborough last June and although things are improved, there is still a lot to do. I suggested some time ago that to move a step closer to our goals, we need to reach more people in the area by means of a Web page. I hope you will contact me about anything that is current in your area that you would like others to know about. Whether it's fund raising/ litter picks/ Resident meetings or fun days, let me know and i'll put it on the website, for the neighbourhood to see.
