I was first elected to be a Member of Peterborough City Council in 1980 as Councillor for the Dogsthorpe Ward and from this time you have continued to re-elect me in that role.
I intend to use this Website to keep you informed about my elected responsibilities, my local activities and give you the chance to know me as an individual and not as a political animal. You will see that to the left, there is some information with specific regard to Dogsthorpe, together with some useful local information. Under the "My Politics" section I have included a link to the Liberal Party of which I am a longstanding Member.
So a few facts about me:-

I left School at 16 and became an apprentice Carpenter / Joiner for a local Peterborough, family, building firm and worked for this company for 33 years before having a complete career change where I joined
MENCAP in Stamford, as a Support Worker. This remains my current place of employment.
