In 1994 I was elected to North Down borough council as a representative for Bangor West. I am married to Alderman Brian Wilson MLA of the Green Party and have 4 children and 2 cats. I have lived in Northern Ireland for 29 years when I moved from Edinburgh. 

My hobbies are gardening, reading, walking and train journeys. I am passionate about renewable energies and have solar panels and various other ways of saving energy.
