Welcome to my personal councillor website. I am the Democratic Unionist Party elected member for the electoral ward of University - part of Newtownabbey Borough Council.
I have been a member of council since 2005 and am currently chair of the Planning and Consultation committee. As well as sitting on all main committees (Liesure, Environment, Policy and Governance and Development) I am also a member of the following: Local Strategy Partnership, Community Safety Partnership, Youth Council Management Board, Home Accident Prevention, International Linkages, Good Relations Partnership and many other sub-committees.
I will be using this site to keep you informed about my work, and to provide you with information about developments at Newtownabbey Borough Council.
This website has been provided to help me in my work as a councillor – to help me communicate with all residents of Newtownabbey Borough Council, regardless of their political persuasion. It has been provided to help improve the quality of communication between councillors and the people that they represent.
