Welcome to my personal councillor website.
I am the SDLP elected member for the electoral ward of The Glens - part of Moyle District Council. I have been a Councillor since May 2005.
I live in the heart of the Glens of Antrim in Cushendall.
I am married to Joey and have two young children, Dervla and Senan.
Since becoming a Councillor for Moyle District Council I have been proud to have held the position of Vice Chair, only a year after my election.
I am currently Chair of Moyle District Policing Partnership and enjoy working in this organisation very much. I am currently doing alot of outreach work throughout the Moyle District as Chair of Moyle DPP. I feel very strongly that representatives on public bodies should be held accountable for their own work, particularly if they receive expenses, and I plan to lead the way while Chair by being as proactive as I can.
I try my best to represent the people of Moyle, particularly the Glens community, as best I can. I enjoy being able to help people and have enjoyed gaining valuable experience in working with different types of people, groups and organisations.
I will be using this site to keep you informed about my work, and to provide you with information about developments at Moyle District Council, my local community, and other organisations that I am involved with.
