Welcome to my Councillor site

I am very pleased to welcome you to my Councillor site.

Thorntree ward is served by two Councillors and the Thorntree Community Council

I will be working closely with all concerned to give you a strong voice in the town hall, and I will do my best to establish a two way communication statagy  between: Thorntree and the Town Hall, this can become a reality via this Site.

I have lived here in Thorntree for over forty years with my wife Geraldine, we have four sons, all of them have now made a life for themselves in other parts of our country and the world, but they still regard Thorntree as their Alma-Mater, and why not they were all educated here in our outstanding local Schools.

Thorntree has in the past had it's share of problems, but I am sure that by cohesive partnership working we can build on the already evident improvements here in Thorntree.

I look forward to working with you in the future.

Respect and regards,

Cllr Peter Purvis.
