So you found me!

Welcome to the website of your Independent Councillor for Park End ward, which incidentally takes in a portion of Berwick Hills.

I hope you find my site of interest but please feel free to advise me if you see any way of making an improvement.

I am a newly elected member of Middlesbrough Borough Council and I am here to serve 'you' the residents, alongside the very experienced Peter Porley (Labour Party).

I'm sure most of the residents on the estate will know me by sight, therefore please feel free to stop and chat  or ask advice. I will endeavour to help you with any queries and if I cannot I will certainly knock on doors to find the answers you require.

10 months into the job and I find it very challenging but enjoy it immensely, working alongside colleagues from different political parties doing our best for the town and its residents.

Latest Middlesbrough Council News BEST EVER GCSE RESULTS FOR MIDDLESBROUGH Results for Middlesbrough’s young people in their GCSE results have continued to improve according to figures released today (10/01/08). The final figures for exams taken in 2007 show that almost 54 per cent of young people taking the exams in Middlesbrough achieved five or more A* to C grades, continuing the upward trend shown in the previous year’s figures.
