After an all out attempt by myself, The Chairman and secretary of The friends of Westbourne Park, concerned residents in Rockliffe and WHINNEY BANKS to oppose and STOP the CONSTRUCTION of a DESIGNER ROUNDABOUT on ACKLAM RD. encroaching onto WESTBOURNE Park, we lost. The roundabout will go ahead. Construction to start early OCTOBER for 20 WEEKS!!! Those of you living nearest: ie. Westbourne, Hambledon, Oxford and Fairfield Rds., PLEASE inform me of any increased traffic and problems in your area.I stressed that RATRUNS would probably ensue, so I need your comments asap.
