Following a road safety study along Low Lane between the Blue Bell roundabout and StaintonWay, thefollowing measures are being proposed.
[1] Reduction of speed limit from 40mph to 30mph from Blue Bell roundabout to the slip road from the A174.
[2] A one metre wide Hatching along the centre of the road.
[3] Improvement to lining and signing in the area.
[4] Provision of a Pedestrian Refuge near to the Pedestrian Bridge.
[5] Provision of a signalised Pedestrian/cycleway.crossing point adjacent to the Barratt Housing Developement.
The Erection of the Traffic Light controlled Pedestrain crossing has been implemented, to the east of Carmel Gdns.
