My ward report from,September 2007

Requests for tree pruning, the oval, malvern dr, trimdon ave.

enquiries regarding earlsdon ave block pave.

request for pave repairs in griesdale cl.

trimdon shops litter.

water leakage at the oval.

football    5 aside field been laid out rear of the kycc.

kycc disabled accesss work concluded, new doors, ramps etc, in excess of £30,000 has been spent.

kycc applying for grants to build a gymnasium as an addition to the centre.

The improvement to the footpaths and verges of earlsdon ave is now complete giving the road a much enhanced appearance, the block paving is a more practical addition for the parking of motor cars.our thanks to transport and design for the good work.

Litter clearance at trimdon ave shops is now being carried out twice daily by streetscene services, a very welcome effort, and well received by shoppers and residents alike.

There is at the moment a spate of shed and garage break ins prevalent in the area, make sure your premises are locked at all times, and report to the wardens or police any thing you feel is suspicious with regard to persons you dont know wandering around your location, day or night.

These and other issues of a more personal nature i have attended over this period.

As well as my ward work i have attended my Committee work as a member of the Environment Scrutiny committee, Works council, Corporate health ansd safety panels, racial harrassment panel, Licensing commitee, and licensing sub committee "A" OSB, and numerous outside directorships, the Blind, dormans museum, Teesvalley rail, Tees Valley environment council, this with full council meetings, planning objections, and my attendence at all Civic events.
