Welcome to my site!

I am delighted to take the opportunity to welcome you to my website. This is a service which informs you about your local councillor, how to contact me and what the Council is providing in Clairville.

I was elected to represent the ward in May 2007 and have been keen to ensure that I represent your interests. You have two Councillors; Bob Kerr and myself. We work together to ensure that the voices of all the residents of Clairville are heard in the Town Hall.

On the Council, I am currently Chair of the Social Care & Adult Services scrutiny panel and the Corporate Health & Safety committee. I am also a member of the Constitution Committee, the Health scrutiny panel and the Overview & Scrutiny Board.

Latest Middlesbrough Council News BEST EVER GCSE RESULTS FOR MIDDLESBROUGH Results for Middlesbrough’s young people in their GCSE results have continued to improve according to figures released today (10/01/08). The final figures for exams taken in 2007 show that almost 54 per cent of young people taking the exams in Middlesbrough achieved five or more A* to C grades, continuing the upward trend shown in the previous year’s figures.
