Community Chest

The Community Chest programme is part of the Government’s National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal and provides funding to stimulate and support community activity in the most deprived areas of Middlesbrough. The funding aims to encourage people to become involved in the regeneration of their communities and neighbourhoods.

Activities that help families improve their living standards and cope with the difficulties that come from being on low incomes.

Activities that help children who are isolated or alone, or have difficulty accessing services

Projects that give children and young people the chance to express their opinions and give advice on matters that concern them.
