TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES – LOW ROAD
Locally elected representative welcome plans by the Roads Service to consult their ideas for traffic Management scheme for the Grand Street, Wesley Street and Low Road Area of Lisburn.
Local Councillor for the area, Alderman Paul Porter, stated “I would like to thank the Roads Service for taking the time to show us the designs and proposals for a Traffic Management Scheme for Grand Street, Wesley Street and Low Road area.”
“I also welcome the fact that the houses in the area will received leaflets from the Roads Service outlining their proposals. As well as leaflets being sent out by the Road Service the drawings are also available for the public to appraise themselves of at the Glenmore Activity Centre.”
“I would urge local residents to make their feelings known directly to the Road Service concerning the scheme so that the opinions of the local community are directly imputed into the scheme.”
