Welcome to my website

I am your elected representative on the County Council for West Lancashire West, covering Scarisbrick, Burscough and Rufford. I was re-elected in 2009 for a four year term. I am also a  member of West Lancs Borough Council for Scarisbrick Ward, re-elected in 2006, and of Scarisbrick Parish Council of some 30 years standing. I was elected as a member of the Conservative Party, and am a member of the Conservative Group on the LCC.

I represent LCC on the West Lancs Local Strategic Partnership and as a school governor at Burscough Priory Science College and Pinfold Primary.

 

At WLBC I serve as Vice-Chairman of the Licensing and Appeals Committee, and both the Executive and Environmental Overview and Scrutiny Committees. I  represent WLBC on the LGA "Rural Commission" (dealing with rural communities) and I also am on the Management Committee of the Grove Community Association in Burscough. 

 

Finally I was appointed to serve on the Lancashire Police Authority for a four year term in July 2009.
