Although I am a member of the Labour Party I will endeavour to serve all of my constituents, regardless of their political persuasion. I take part in a variety of public and voluntary organisations, for example I am Chairman of the Governors of Fishwick Primary School, a member of the Lancashire Probation Board, Treasurer of the Greater Deepdale Community Association (locally known as the Catherine Beckett Centre), a Board Member of Myerscough College and the Chair of the Preston Muslim Burial and Welfare Association.
