Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is a national programme aimed at lifting educational attainment through a complete transformation of England’s secondary schools. BSF is based on a new model of procurement and asset management and seeks to ensure that secondary education in every part of England has 21st Century facilities within 10 to 15 years from 2006.
The County Council's Cabinet have previously created a Committee to oversee the BSF work in relation to schools in Burnley Borough and part of Pendle Borough.
