The County Council's Environment Directorate Development Control Group deals with planning applications for mining, quarrying and waste management sites, and also for all County Council developments such as schools, libraries and highways.
These applications are sometines very controversial and rlocal people may want to get in touch with their local County Councillors and let them know what they think.
