I have been elected as a County Councillor for the Electoral Division of Morecambe North, covering Bolton-le-Sands (part) Slyne with Hest, Bare and Poulton (Morecambe) to serve the interests of all residents, regardless of political persuasion.
I am, however, a member of the Conservative Party and I work with members of my own party and indeed other parties in local organisations such as the Poulton Neighbourhood Management Board. I have always had close contacts with my Lancaster City Council colleagues and indeed served on the City Council before I became a County Councillor.
These are the committees and sub committees I sit on at County Hall:
- County Council (Chairman)
- Communities Overview & Scrutiny committee
