The Safety Review of the various safety measures that were provided on the A59 was presented on April 23 to the meeting of South Ribble Lancashire Local.

11/10/2007 -  TRAFFIC LIGHT CAMERAS 
There is a serious issue at the junction of Liverpool Road and Priory Lane/Cop Lane with drivers driving through the junction after the lights turn to red.

COUNCILLORS and other interested people from South Ribble and other parts of Lancashire will be meeting in Chorley on Monday to discuss issues relating to probity in public life, on how local authorities can work together to do so and also to agree questions that need sending in an upward direction to people who understand the issues that may recur elsewhere in the country.

The Lancashire Local have formed a Task Group to investigate the answers to questions on the A59 asked by the By-pass Action Group of County officers.

I have approached many organisations in my area asking them to apply to me for a share of the £1,000 I have been allocated to give grants for local projects.

ADULTS with a learning disability in South Ribble are to benefit from the development of Bamber Bridge Methodist Church and its new £750,000 state-of-the-art community centre.
