* * * *I am Councillor Paula Winchcombe and represent Devizes North Ward on Kennet District Council. In doing so I also represent the interests of Devizes and Kennet residents.* * * * *
I am a member of the Conservative Party and of the Conservative Councillors Association.
I am Chairman of Kennet District Council.
I am a member of the Human Resources Committee and Overview and Scrutiny Management Board. (Please follow this link for more information - O&S)
- Member Champion for Health, Community Safety, Recreation, Arts & Leisure. In that role I am also the Council's representative on the County Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (follow link) and have an observer status at Wiltshire Primary Care Trust Board meetings.
- Represent Kennet and regularly attend Community Safety Task Group meetings where there are health or youth issues.
- Chairman of Devizes Community Area Forum (DCAF) and Vice-Chairman of Devizes Community Area Planning Partnership (DCAPP).
- Represent Devizes North Ward on Devizes Town Council and am currently Chairman of Personnel Panel.
- Represent the town council on the Wiltshire Association of Local Councils (WALC) and am Chairman of the Executive Committee.
- Member of Devizes & District Twinning Association (twinned with Waiblingen, Germany; Mayenne, France; Tornio, Finland; and Oamaru, New Zealand).
- Chairman of Devizes Hospital & Community Radio (DHCR) and Vice-Chairman of Devizes Action to Save our Hospital (DASH2).
- I am a unit helper with the Devizes Original Senior Section Guiding Unit (DOSS).
I am married to Charles (since 1976) who represents South Ward on Devizes Town Council and is a Wiltshire County Councillor. We have two daughters Victoria and Alexandra and one son, Philip who is a Roundway Parish Councillor. I am a partner in our family business in Devizes.

Centre Celebrates 60 Years Of Racing
Devizes Visitor Centre is celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Devizes to Westminster Race with a photographic display in the Tourist Information Centre between Monday 17th March finishing on Saturday 22nd.
