Welcome To My Website.

I represent the Ward of Marlborough East of Kennet District Council. As part of my duties as a Councillor I sit on the committee's for Human Resources and Resources.

I have lived in Marlborough most of my life and I have been married to Norman for 41 years. We have 2 Children and 3 Grandchildren.

Norman's family have a long history in Marlborough with his grandfather being Town Cryer of the town. During his time as Town Cryer Norman's grandfather won the all England Championships for three years running between 1910--1913. As a reward he was awarded a bell for each year that he won, one of which is still in Marlborough.

His father was macebearer for Marlborough for many years and Norman followed in his footsteps and was also macebearer, but due to work commitments he could not continue.

I am a member of Christchurch Methodist United Reform Church and have been for about 15 years.

I  run a friendship club in Marlborough and we meet at Christchurch every Tuesday morning 10am till 12noon. The club is open to all ages and it is chance for people to have a chat and make new friends, come and join us for tea and cakes, I look forward to meeting you.

I also help with the Credit Union based at Christchurch. This takes place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month between 11and 12am.

I have the great honour to serve the people of Marlborough & Manton as there Mayor.

Currently I am trying to find my feet as a councillor which includes finding  my way around Kennet District Council. I would like to thank everyone for being so helpful.

If you wish to contact me either send me an email or write to me at 12 Southview Place, Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 1DD.
