Casework
This is a list of some of the current casework that I am currently engaged in (and have previously been engaged in) on behalf of the community which I represent:
September 2007
September is also a quiet month for Council business, although this month has seen an extraordinary meeting of the Council to discuss the Wiltshire unitary bid. I have also attended a Joint Conservative Group meeting with County and other District Conservative councillors to discuss the unitary status bid.
This is my current casework list:
Easterton Jam Factory - helping to bring the applicants and the Parishioners together with the Council and its Officers. I am also helping to ensure that where policy exists which would affect this development it is being applied fairly or is revisited.
Wedhampton - giving help and advice to planning applicants to help develop a satisfactory outcome to their application.
Lydeway - helping a local business to advertise itself.
Easterton – meeting potential applicants for a difficult planning application.
Litter Bins – helping to pursue a litter bin policy for the Council.
August 2007
August is a quiet month but the business of the Council still goes on. I have been on holiday for the first part of the month but still keep in touch with casework by e-mail. This is my current casework list:

Easterton - helping to resolve a planning difficulty at Tumbledown Lane
Urchfont - representing the community views in Regulatory Committee
Stert - helping and monitoring the Conservation status bid

Foot and mouth - helping liaison over environmental health

Personal Injury – helping a resident with a personal injury issue in Devizes
Recycling Sub Centre – establishing a recycling sub centre in my the hamlet in which I live
