Hullo and welcome to my web site. I am very pleased you have taken the trouble to visit and find out what I am doing to represent residents in Tressell ward - a part of the Ore Valley which includes Farley Bank Estate and Halton Estate, Priory Road (where the Bridge Community Centre can be found), the residential streets near to Ore Village including Victoria Avenue and Greville Road.
I have been a Labour Councillor since 1998, and I also used to represent Old Hastings & Tressell Division on East Sussex County Council where was the Labour Spokesperson for Children's Services until I stood down in early 2009.
On Hastings Borough Council I am the Opposition Cabinet Member for Community Services and Personnel.
In my ward, I have been proud to work with residents to achieve the Bridge Community Centre at 361, Priory Road which has been open since January 2006.
Please call 01424 433611 or e-mail reception@thebridgehastings.co.uk if you want to find out what is going on there or just call in if you are passing.
The other Councillor in Tressell ward is Cllr Peter Chowney, who has been working hard with residents over the past 12 months to oppose numerous planning applications in the Ore Valley area. He can be contacted on 01424 436032 or cllr.peter.chowney@hastings.gov.uk
I am part-time project worker at Migrant Helpline in St Leonards and in my spare time I enjoy movies, reading and walking.
I can be contacted on 01424 719835 or cllr.jay.kramer@hastings.gov.uk or via the Contact Me link on this site.
