This South East England Regional Assembly proposed resolution seeking transportation improvements on the Gosport Peninsula received the Assemblies unaminous support.

31/12/2006 -  12.11.06 ROYAL HOSPITAL HASLAR 
This South East England Regional Assembly proposed resolution seeking support to retain Haslar for both military and NHS use also received unanimous support.

The introduction of two hours free parking in short stay car parks will have serious consequences

Gosport has the worst imbalance between the working age population and local employment opportunities than has any other town in the whole of South East England. That's an important reason why 20,000 out-commuters suffer such serious congestion on the A32.

With the refusal of the Government to fund Light Rail Transit, the Chairman of Gosport's Transportation and Planning Sub-Board, Peter Langdon, has had some success in his search for alternative solutions to ease congestion.

Gosport High Street has performed well.

Car parking charges in Gosport are an emotive issue. Why then were they introduced?
