Welcome to my personal councillor website. I am the Sinn Féin elected member for the District of Ballynahinch, and one of five Sinn Féin Councillors in Down District .

Ballynahinch DEA consists of five electoral wards Ballymaglave, Ballynahinch East, Drumaness, Dunmore and Seaforde. I was elected in 2005 and since then have enjoyed the experience of serving the urban and rural communities across the district and look forward to the challenges that may arise in the future.

I will be using this site to keep you informed about my work, and to provide you with information about developments at Down District Council.

As a local Councillor living in Ballynahinch, the issues that affect you are important to me. I would encourage you to use the contact me button on the toolbar to inform me of individual issues and concerns, or of any concerns you may wish to raise about Down District Council.

With best wishes

Councillor Mickey Coogan
