Welcome to my website

I was elected as Borough Council for the Morpeth South ward in 1999 to represent all residents regardless of their political persuasion. I am however a member of the Liberal Democrat Party and take an active interest in all local and national campaigns. Whilst I am interested in all issues throughout the Borough, I am particularly keen to resolve issues within the town of Morpeth.

I am a member of the Executive Board of the Council, which has responsibility for the Council's strategic role. I am also a member of Morpeth Town Council, with an anuual budget of nearly £1/2m. I serve as Vice Chair of its Finance Committee.

I hold regular surgeries (with other Liberal Democrat County, Borough & Town councillors) at the Storey Park Community Centre on the last Saturday in every month between 11am & 12noon (apart from December). Any other information can be found within the Events and Surgery Times link within the menu. I can be contacted by email on david.parker@castlemorpeth.gov.uk or by using the “Contact Me” link within the menu. Please ensure that you include your contact details if you wish to me reply. I can also be contacted, at any reasonable hour, by telephone on 01670 516218.

Within the “My Politics” section I included some links to other websites that contain information you may find useful.
