I was elected as Borough Council for the North Ward of Ponteland in 1991 to represent all residents regardless of their political persuasion. I am however a member of the LIB - DEM party and take an active interest in all local and national campaign. Whilst I'm interested in all issues through Borough I am particularly keen to resolve issues with the Ponteland residents,
I am a member of the Development Services Committee ( Planning applications) I am on the Licensing Committee which deal with social and private Club and Publichouses also Private Hire Vehicle Licences and Hackney carriage and private hire vehicle Drivers Licences.
I hold regular Councillor's Surgeries in Merton Village Hall every third Saturday of each month from 10 am until 11 am where you can meet your Lib-Dem Councillor's and the Focus Team and ask them about any of the local issues that concern you.
I am also a member of Ponteland Parish Council.

CASTLE MORPETH IN BLOOM 2007
On Thursday 2nd August 2007 I went around the Borough judging gardens and the standard of entries was absolutely fantastic. The effort that went into the entries was brilliant.

Car Parking in Elmwood
Nine new parking places has been put in Elmwood which has made a big difference to the People in Elmwood,
Northumberland in Bloom
Ponteland has won the Silver Medal for the past two years and we are hoping to go for Gold in 2008, we would like as many People to take a pride in the Village
