Armagh City and District Council are at the early stages of replacing Keady Community Centre with a new community venue. Where do you think this should be located?

Councillor Thomas O'Hanlon

Welcome,

My name is Thomas O'Hanlon, an SDLP Councillor for Crossmore on Armagh City District Council.  I want this site to be a source of local news relating to my work and campaigns.

In 2005, I was elected to Armagh City and District Council as its youngest ever member and topped the Nationalist Poll in doing so.  Since then, I have tried to work hard for the people and the area I represent.  Crossmore is a mainly rural area which includes the town of Keady and the areas of Granemore, Tassagh, Derrynoose, Madden and the villages of Milford and Middletown.

At present I am a Chairperson of Armagh City and District Councils Public Services Committee which deals with issues such as Planning, Roads, Housing and Health.  I am also a member of the Councils Internal Scrutiny Committee and Chairperson of the Keady Regeneration Committee.  I represent the Council on East Border Region, a crossborder funding body and am a Director of Keady Business Centre.

I work for the SDLP’s Assembly Member for Newry and Armagh Dominic Bradley MLA as a Parliamentary Assistant.

I hope this website will enable you to keep up to date with news and information in the area.

If I can be of any help, please feel free to contact me at any time.

With best wishes,

Thomas O’Hanlon
