Granger Homes have lodged an appeal against refusal of planning permission on the Amble boatyard site. The Inquiry will be held by the Planning Inspectorate starting at 10am on the 3rd October in the Council Chamber , Clayport St. Alnwick. It is expected to last two days.. The Developer has decided to close the picture hall car park behind the Co-op. An offer by the District Council to operate the car park while development proposals were being considered was declined.
The Inspector's Report and his decision is unlikely before December at the earliest.
