Welcome to my website

Welcome to my web site. I was first elected in 1995 and I was re-elected as your local councillor representing the central ward in Amble in May 2007.

I was appointed to serve on the Development Control and the Operations Excutive Committees.  I am also Vice Chair of Amble  MACPI  (Multi Agency Crime Prevention Initiative).

For many years, I worked as  an assistant in a number of well-known shops in the town. I am a governor of Edwin Street School and a regular church-goer and a member of The Mothers Union.

I also do voluntary work as a driver for Age Concern's Meals on Wheels scheme. I have just been elected at the lead Councillor to the Children's Play Initiative.

At Alnwick District Council, we are very keen to ensure that there are safe well-equipped play facilities for children.

I am here to serve the community of Amble regardless of their political persuasions, however, I am a member of the Labour Party.and take an interest in a number of national and local campaigns.

I am also a member of Amble Town Council, and I am on the cemetary and finance committees

Please feel free to contact me, at any reasonable time, at on 01665 711975 or via the Contact Me page. Hope you will visit my site again soon.
