As well as being a councillor, I am also the Chairman of the Northern Region Liberal Democrats and the Secretary of the Berwick upon Tweed Constituency Liberal Democrats.  I enjoy using computers and organising data.  I currently co-organise the conferences for the Regional LibDems ~ booking speakers, venues, sending out relevant paperwork to delegates, etc.

As a councillor I am very interested in recycling, the environment and the protection of our wildlife, affordable housing especially for local residents wishing to get a toe-hold on the housing ladder, decent homes for all – whether you live in council/housing association housing, privately rented accommodation or own your own property and all matters affecting the disabled and the elderly. 

Personally, I am a great pet lover ~ I have two half-bred Siamese cats; although these spend a great deal of time with my ‘estranged’ family.
