I am a new Councillor in the District and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support during and after the election. I will do my utmost to represent the people in the area.
I am a farmers wife living in the rural area south of Rothbury. I have also had a career in Education, serving as a teacher and headteacher in Northumberland for over 30 years.
I am very interested in the preservation of a thriving rural economy, rural services and a quality Education for all.
I plan to have a News/Events page and I would be pleased if you could keep me up to date on local events and issues. I do intend to keep this website interesting, challenging and up to date so I do need your input!!

Scouting around for litter
Local cubs and scouts did their bit for the community last Wednesday by helping Alnwick District Council in a clean up of the Greenwell Lane area of Alnwick.
